Those were not advocating violence.
Well, I think it is time for me to pack it in for the evening as well. Good night Cathleen and Joe and anyone else who may still be quietly lurking on these boards. Y'all have a restful night's sleep and a glorious new day tomorrow!
It's worse even than Vegemite!
I think French Jews are a lost immigration target for Canada. I thought our government should go out of its way to open up 50,000 immigration visas for any Jewish families fluent in French. We've already got the language, the culture, and the community to support them.
If that is a mark of covenant between Abraham and God, then God is a monster. Either that or he's just stupid, and Abraham is to boot.
And Ped Nugent
Rather than blurping out 'just so ' statements how about you substantiate your claim ? I can see you only emitting hot air without any substance
I'd think about it. But good luck with these "resurrections".
no, it isn't. I'm not jumping to conclusions when I reject the evidence as being insufficient. I'm saying, until there is sufficient evidence, logic dictates I withhold belief. No conclusions. In fact, I'm open to new evidence whenever someone has some to share
Hmm, perhaps the parties ought to reconsider their titles.
Perhaps your first language is not English. That would explain why you might make such an absurd assumption.
The whole religious scene is a joke.
I'm always amazed when ignorant deniers claim that they know more science than the actual scientists.
How cam a mortal glorify GOD? Are you aware of Gen 1:28? Because that is why we are here.
For the record, not a fan of weddings. Receptions are nice, but the hookup potential is always oversold. 1/2 to 2/3 of the guests are always family. I guess if you don't mind boning your cousin it can have a certain Russian Roulette type of appeal.
it's sporadic. I had the issue a couple of times yesterday, but so far today no issues. Trying clearing your browser cache (cookies history etc), then re-log in. (might work/might not)
Right, so... why do you think that knowledge such as that didn't spread into Christian territories? It's not that there weren't curious scholars for 800 years. It was suppressed.
He was better than the rest of them...that was worded poorly, I just wanted to make the point that i suddenly had a hard on for Russia because of what's his name..lol
well, besides healing them, there is a huge deal about Jesus teachings, and there is a reason they say they the Gospel is good news.
'Stay-at-home-Mom' describes a LOT of different jobs. Like, the parent of one 17 year old and the parent of a 2 year old, 4 year old and 2 eight year old's shouldn't all get the same description.
Am absolute nerd on computer so no rhem no reason. I just say Lois101
"Believed it all" - That false equivalence pops up in every discussion of Jesus mythicism. Only fundamentalists are asking you to believe it all. Historians are just asking you to believe that it is at least loosely based on historical events.
Picture didn't upload so I will repost.
moral of the story:always have a good publicist.
Rose, thank you for your kind words. Buddhists differ on their personal view of the world - some are optimistic, others pessimistic. I think, however, that most of them adhere to a principle that we've seen worded like, "World change, like charity, 'begins at home' ", "Regime change starts here", and the old Gospel injunction to remove the log from one's own eye before trying to remove the speck from another's. My guess is that world change ought to begin in the individual. Again, a quote, this time from Gandhi, "Be the change you want to see in the world". I suppose that would start with one of the most difficult things imaginable - love and forgiveness toward enemies. If we can do that on a limited individual level, we might be able to extend it to the global level. Maybe "Buddhistic" values could hit a critical mass and the world would undergo positive change once it hits that tipping point. That's my best guess. I don't know if it really has any effective practical application. Time will tell...
Too late. Dennis Rodman already has that. covered.
have you tasted refried beans made with lard,,vs. beans made with "low fat alternatives?" which is french for" tastless"
Oh. You were just trying to tell me I'm stupid. Thanks.
Oooh, yes! A giant cockroach!
I wasn't born yet. But I've created gods. Just not this one.
Sorry Auntie Maxine, President Trump did the right thing...unlike your useless Barry Hussein Obama deal with the Iranian Ayatollah's, Mullahs and Imams he loves so much, impeachment has to go through Congress. Now run along you crazy old Moonbat!
Good morning, you cockadoodles!!
I do agree with him, and have nothing but contempt for the ridiculous smear campaign launched by contrarian hate-monger Hitch.
Thanks - now I am really pleased.
